Who we are

What we collect through this website
- Contact form: your name, phone number and/or email address, province or territory, optional city, preferred contact method, a general reason chosen from a list, and an optional best time to call.
- Technical information: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website. We keep simple, anonymous visit statistics: which pages are viewed, the general area a visit comes from (city level), the type of device, the website that referred the visit, and whether a call button was tapped or the form was sent. No cookies are used, and no IP addresses, names or other personal details are stored with these statistics. They are stored in Canada.
We ask you not to send details of your situation through the form. Those are discussed privately by phone.
How we use it
Only to respond to your inquiry and, if you decide to go ahead, to arrange and conduct a test. We do not sell, rent or share your information with lead services, marketers or other businesses.
How form messages are handled
Form messages are sent over an encrypted connection to TruthFind's secure records system, operated by the Auxilium Group in Canada. All data is stored in Canada. Messages are seen only by the examiner, and are deleted if we don't hear back from you within 72 hours.
Test data
EyeDetect and VerifEye tests record eye measurements and answers, which are sent in encrypted form to Converus, the manufacturer, for scoring. Converus may store and process this data outside Canada, including in the United States. Results are shared only with the people the person tested has agreed to, unless disclosure is required by law.
How long we keep information
If you send a message and we don't hear back from you within 72 hours, your information is deleted.
TruthFind does not keep test records. Results are given to the client as a printed report or emailed as a PDF, and then destroyed. No video is recorded. A photo of the person tested is taken so their face appears in the report, which confirms the right person was tested.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by contacting us at inquiry@truthfind.ca. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
